Unconditional love and the love you choose

I heard an essay on The Bob Edwards Show today and loved it. It is entitled The Love I Choose and you can read the transcript and listen to the audio of her essay. It's from the This I Believe group of essays which is based on the 1950s radio program of the same name hosted by Edward R. Murrow. The woman, Jessica Mercer Zerr, describes her love for her husband; it's a love that is different than, as she explains, the love for her daughter.

Random fact 1: Murrow Blvd. in Greensboro is named after Edward R. Murrow.
